I’ve been gaming forever on PC. Have had a number of MSI GPU's and laptops, but this is my first prebuilt desktop. It leaves a lasting impression - This pc is a cut above, and seems to be the best prebuilt i've ever owned -- made a little bit more enticing because I got it during Cyber Monday. I'm a musician and VR tester. They're both my passion and employment. In June 2024, I really started noticing my studio PC, with a 3060 GPU was past its' prime. I needed a whole new platform. So I asked the engineers at my job, did my homework. It was an open discussion, about which GPU i'd get. The 4070 Ti Super kept popping up, at that apex of good value + efficient and iterated GPU design, and I believe it is the final 40 series card. Nvidia learned from the lukewarm reception of the 12gb version of the 4070 Super, and with the 4070 Ti Super they proposed a mulligan, the company needed to get right. It's hard to say they missed - the 4070 Ti Super in this pc uses less juice, runs cooler, and most importantly has 16GB of GDDR6X. With a 256-bit interface it makes all the difference. The company's benchmarks for this card are merely fine, but they don’t tell the whole story, even today, as Nvidia continues to build out DLSS and AI frame generation in the 50 series, the company has allowed that most of the gains outside the crazy frame gen on the 50 cards are also here. Just today, you can see their dedication pay off in Cyberpunk 2077's latest patch, dropped in late January 2025. In this PC, the card just sings. The case is nice, extremely well ventilated, and quiet and decked with fans. It shows clean lines. Impressively tidy wiring and solid build. Mobo allows for a 'very futuristic' feeling 256 gigs of RAM. Low latency WiFi 7 capable, two superfast M.2 slots. A Liquid PC Cooler that actually was tight and fitted properly out of the box. The rig loads every conceivable game, super fast. Folks complaining about 'Shader compilation time' just... don't mean anything here. Have not yet had to wait more than seconds in every case. Jedi: Survivor? Spider-Man? God of War? Ghost of Tsushima? Practically instantaneous. It just delivers. Begs to be used in novel scenarios like Mixed Reality, AI, on a 90 ft. in-VR screen playing Forza Horizon 5, floating in space... really. Cyberpunk just got a nice patch that ups performance. I'm using a 32” 165Hz monitor primarily, but also working In VR via Quest 3 + Virtual Desktop. The rig provides a perfectly smooth 120Hz wirelessly to a dedicated vr router. The PCVR gaming mod scene is wild. Always something new. Today I played Crysis in VR, a gorgeous mod with full motion controls. Tomorrow i'll be trying Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (it was the pack in game from Nvidia with this pc btw!) in VR. Dedicated fans love these experiences so much that a cottage industry of genius developers is making sure that the best experience you can have with all those classic games and future ones are becoming ever greater as they're carefully ported to VR. This is a very particular spot that makes the 16GB of VRAM less of an option. You need it for high-res stuff -- 12GB? Wouldn’t cut it. The latest revelation was with 'Kayak VR: Mirage', a realistic simulator using gorgeous photogrammatry and perfect water physics, powered by this rig… It’s like a mini-vacation. You could almost smell the salty air, taking in the atmosphere with a very deliberate vanishing of the telltale signs of being in just a game. It’s the kind of wireless PCVR I used to dream about. No lag. Just presence, no question! Setting it up was easy. Had to poke at some pre-installed software, but nothing major. I am happy that the The MSI Center allows users to easily opt out, or do what I did: just download the features you like. Basic overclocking is easy. I didn't dig deep into that, as I didn't see the need. Importantly, I switch between the silent and balanced user profiles -- even while in VR. a mere 4 feet away, in VR I do not notice the sound of the fans. Overall - it's a 4.6 out of 5. I'm only cutting a bit for not having an option to get this pc w/o RGB fans and accessories. Even if it only reduced the price by $30. Isn't everyone pretty particular about the type of keyboard and mouse they use? It's hard to imagine anyone that would get this pc and then resorting to branded pack ins. Don't let those pack ins stop you though - this PC makes manifest the dream.

Sleek and ready to play whatever you throw at it. Easy setup and the included MSI mouse and keyboard is a nice touch. Good quality on both. Massive upgrade from my laptop.
