A perfect little system!
||Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.I already own an OG Switch, but with Nintendo's decision to only allow one island per console for the upcoming Animal Crossing title, they were able to squeeze out a little extra money from me. I was on the fence about the Lite, but ultimately decided the turquoise version was the way to go. Transferring my save data and downloaded games were an easy enough process. Plus I'm still able to play on my original Switch, so there's no issues with swapping gameplay between the two. Battery life certainly seems better, but I tend to keep my system plugged in at all times, so it's a bit of a moot point with me. Graphically I think games look better on the Lite than in handheld mode on the full-size Switch, which is definitely a plus. The only potential downside is if it ever gets joycon drift, since I'd have to send in the whole system. Fingers crossed it doesn't happen, lol. All in all, I'd say the Lite is definitely worth picking up...but I'd treat it more as a secondary system; I still rate the "big brother" Switch as the best one to buy.

Great travel companion
||Posted .The system is great for those on the go that want the better battery life and great games. I’ve got a launch console and purchased this with the intent of keeping this as the “primary” console and my original one as my home console. In case you’re wondering the differences are as follows: -screen and console are smaller in size and weight -battery is longer lasting -joy-cons aren’t detachable, they’re built into the system, which means no HD rumble, no IR sensor either -no kickstand -not able to be docked, this is a portable only system, but it runs the entire switch library as long as it doesn’t require the system to be docked -$100 cheaper That said, if this is a travel only supplement or you never play your system docked, this is the Switch for you. If you need the “switch” part of the switch, and want the freedom to detach the controllers and play the game on a tv, then buy the larger version (just make sure it’s the all red box version as that’s the one with the new battery and more efficient chipset like the lite).

A great addition to have!
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I purchased a Nintendo switch when it came out and unfortunately it bricked on me near the start of Covid19, however I did not want to purchase another one for the hope of getting it fixed later on. When I finally gave in to buying the switch lite it was sold out everywhere, so I kept checking back and finally it was restocked and bought it! I'm loving it so far, I have small hands so holding it feels much better than the regular switch since it's a bit bigger. Funny thing was that my regular switch turned back on the day I received the switch lite lol so now I have two, but for now I've been using the lite because it feels much better in my opinion. If you don't ever want to play on the tv then this switch is for you.

Thank you Best Buy
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. My 6 year old nephew loves this bc his older brothers have PlayStations and are always leaving him out of playing Fortnite but now he can join in with them and play. A week after Christmas it stopped charging and easily Best By traded it out for a new one. Customer service was a life savior offering me a 2 year warranty, if any accidents occur like him spilling something or cracking the screen, they will fix or replace. And with him being so young with a $200 game, I feel very secure with this purchase. Now I cant get him to put it down.

I love it.
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. It all began when my son got a bad grade on a test. I had possession of his Original Nintendo Switch. I did what any self-respecting parent (who owned the NES as a child) would do... I played it. My son was set to come off punishment days before the release date... so what’s a mom to do?

Great handheld console
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Super glad to finally catch a Switch in stock. Though I originally wanted the full Switch console. I ended up giving that up(because of stock issues) and going for the lite version. I don’t regret that decision at all. It is a beautiful console! Everything works nicely, the buttons and joysticks feel and work great. My one complaint and it’s a pretty big one, is that the battery life is absolute garbage. I knew it was gonna be bad when I bought it. So I’m willing to deal with it. But it rubs me the wrong way that this console is marketed for strictly handheld gaming and portability. Not very portable when it has to be plugged into the wall every 4-5 hours. If it weren’t for the battery, I’d give it 5 stars easily. Other than that, I’m super happy with my Switch lite and the fact that I can finally play Animal Crossing: NH

Nintendo Switch Lite Turquoise by Lakitu Bros.
||Posted .Owned for 1 year when reviewed.Go! Go! Go! In a nonstop world something like the Nintendo Switch Lite can suit a gamer’s busy lifestyle quite well. Designed for on-the-go type gaming, the smaller form factor allows for quick-fire game sessions without all the bulk. However, as with everything in life there’s a give and take, so this little champ stays moving and does not dock. Yet, a great side kick to have as a companion to the original Nintendo Switch. Perfect for passing time on road trips or lunch breaks.

Great Purchase
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed. My daughter received this as a Christmas gift and absolutely loves it. It is compatible with most of the Switch games she likes to play. It helped alleviate the battle over the main Switch with her brothers as well. My only pet peeve is I wish there was a way to download your already purchased games cards onto the Switch.

Q: QuestionWhat is the difference between Nintendo switch and switch lite?
Asked by Eva.
- A:Answer The Switch Lite has a 5.5 inch screen while the Switch has a 6.2 inch screen. In addition, the joy cons are integrated into the Switch Lite and are not removable. You can add additional Joy cons if you want though. The Switch Lite also lacks a kick stand as well. The biggest lost feature is the Switch Lite can not connected to the TV and it does not include a Dock either. You can only play games on the Switch Lite itself. Since the joy cons are not removable, it makes replacing them more difficult when experiencing issues and if you need the Joy cons repaired, you are without the system itself. Everything else such as memory card support, internal storage, amiibo, and game support is still supported. Also, one more thing. Due to the recent update of the new Switch revision, the battery life on the new Switch model is better than the Switch Lite as well.

Q: QuestionWill kids still be able to play fortnight on this switch console? Will all switch games work on this console?
Asked by Anonymous.
This question was asked about the related product: Nintendo - Switch Lite - Zacian and Zamazenta Edition
- A:Answer Yes fortnite can be played on the switch lite. There are a few games that won't be playable but most will be. Keep in mind this system is best for a person who mainly plays by themselves or with people who already have a switch. If you want a system for kids to play together in the same room you should consider the regular 299$ switch.

Asked by Geoff.
This question was asked about the related product: Nintendo - Switch Lite - Zacian and Zamazenta Edition
- A:Answer It can only access YouTube and hulu. Nintendo was focused on making a game console first soi it doesn't have many of the internet features or apps like a phone or tablet. You also can't put movies on the sd card.
