- A: Answerthis switch not only has a better battery life, but they made it so the system doesn't get overheated or get hot as fast as the older system. Where the joy-cons connect to the system is sturdier and more secure. If you're considering between the two, I say just get this newer version because they both cost the same price

Great gaming console
Bought a ls a Christmas gift. Great system especially for my youngest. Lots of free family, friendly games that have given the kids and myself something to do on the weekends together. Love the ability to make it portable or do to play on the big screen TV.
