A: The ball is approximately 2.5 inches in diameter because it fits perfectly in a standard Chuckit! launcher. It is slightly lighter than a lacrosse ball, about 1.25 oz lighter, and it is not smooth. But if you wanted to play lacrosse in the dark, it would probably work and it would probably be a lot of fun.
