Optoma - SVGA DDR DLP Digital Projector

This is an awesome projector. After hours of research and reading all the positive reviews on this projector we decided to buy it and what a great buy it has been. Crystal clear picture. Just like having a HD flat screen tv. For the price of this projector and a 99.00 screen It costs MUCH less than it would be to buy a TV and it gives you that whole movie theater experience. This projector also doesn't require a pitch black room like a lot of the other projectors I have seen. It does come w/minimal accessories so you may have to buy a few depending on what you are using it for but it is so worth it. Works just as well as the 1000.00 + projectors. All in all GREAT BUY!!!

I shopped around for projectors for awhile. I did not want to spend thousands on a projector. For $600, this is an outstanding projector. I use it for playing my Xbox 360, videos on my laptop, and my Blueray DVD player. It doesn't handle sound, so I ran the Analog Jacks (yellow, red, white) from the XBox into a converter box, then S-Video into the projector and Analog Audio cables into a stereo. That was okay. NOW I run HDMI and Digital Optical Audio from XBox into an AV Receiver Surround Sound, then I run a HDMI to DVI cable into the Projector. That gives me GREAT video and sound too. This projector looks great with Xbox, DVDs, and VGA PC connection. It is good quality and plenty bright. This is a good buy.

We go to different places, and we needed a projector for our presentation and so we bought this unit for that purpose and at times we use it to watch movie in our home. This projector is perfect for it! lightweight, quality lumens, and the colors were so vivid, we are using a silver matte screen that's why it projects well with quality. This is our first time to use this kind of brand, we have tried Infocus and has the same quality but for a lesser price. DLP is great! compare to other chip modification.

Was really leary about buying this for entertainment, but was quickly put at ease. I have this setup primarily for movies and the picture is incredible. HD! You have to run all your sound (audio) through a receiver though. If you can live with that, then this a great option to the $2000 models that are floating around out there for entertainment. I have the cable hooked to the projector by S-Video and the DVD hooked to the projector by HDMI to DVI cable. It's awesome. This is a must have if you are looking to upgrade your picture size and viewing experience. Get one today!

I was completely blown back when I purchased this projector. It is perfect, you would be wasting your money getting a 1000+ projector. This has everything you need for 350 less than competition. My favorite part is the resolution. This thing has a very respectable resolution which was the main reason for buying this. If you go to amazon you'll see projectors for five hundred boasting 800x600 resolution which sucks. All in all, very respectable projector at a reasonable price.

This projector is very simple to use and it is at a great price. In my opinion these are better than my thousand dollar projectors because it's cheap,easy to use and great quality. If you want a projector for school or anything else I suggest you buy this one.

I am from Mexico, and 2 years ago I went to Best Buy in FL, and bought this projector, I am very satisfied with my purchase. It is an excellent projector at a very low price!
