Near Perfection
|Posted .After doing a fair amount of research (both by camera enthusiasts at BestBuy and from youtube bloggers) I decided it was time to trade in my Nikon 1 J5 towards the G7. I am quite happy with the transition. The camera has a little bit of a learning curve (many functions and customization). Once you nail down what buttons are what, setting up the shot through the electronic viewfinder is a dream. The touchscreen is super fast and responsive. My primary use is videography and night time photography where my previous camera struggled. The G7 does super well in various conditions and I really enjoy its size - just small enough for basic portability, and big enough to do force you to frame your shots. I did get a mic attachment and several magnifier attachments to do macro nature photography. While the body is mostly plastic, the form factor is lightweight yet durable that it strikes a good balance in quality confidence. I've attached a couple of test shots I took.

Remarkable quality and features for its size
|Posted .Pros mentioned:Ease of use, For video, Picture qualityMy other camera is a Canon 6d with a 24-105mm L lens, so I have a goos basis for comparison. The image quality is truly outstanding, given the size of the sensor. The things you can do with this camera are amazing. Video is, of course, excellent. It is kind of a perfect grab-n-go alternative to my Canon. Also, it is very easy to use alternative lenses. Very satisfied. By the way, I returned a Sony A6000 because I could never warm up to it. I think that the Sony cameras are very overpriced given the quality and features they offer. Trendy, for sure, but way overrated and over priced.

They’re great but the video are awesome! And you can pass them via Bluetooth! It’s worth it even though it’s kind of a old camera now but definitely worth the money. I left a sample pic. I am new with taking pictures.

Best camera for photographing children and action!
Posted .Pros mentioned:4k video, For video, Picture quality“I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Influence Central for Panasonic. I received product samples as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.” I recently received a Panasonic LUMIX G7 camera and while I'm still getting comfortable with it, I already know I love it! The 4K feature is key for capturing the good stuff, those quick moments where smile are biggest, eyes are brightest and time has really stood still. The first time I used the camera, I wasn't familiar with how to use the 4K feature. But I loved the photos that I took just the same. The camera is lightweight and easy to take with you on whatever adventures you are setting out on. It's much less intrusive than when I bring my big DSLR camera. It is now the only camera I will take with me on a trip or even just heading out on an outing with my kids. And then I learned a little more about the 4K mode. I'm hooked! Shooting in 4K felt a little odd for me since I'm used to shooting the moment with a click of the shutter. Since we were at the beach, and the kids were playing in the water, I decided to try out the 4K Start/Stop mode. What this means is that you are basically taking short videos where you can then extract the perfect image after the fact! As I sat down with my camera once we got home from that trip, and really started to go through the footage, it became clear that this is THE way to shoot when you are taking picture of active children. I got some amazing shots of the kids in the waves that I would never have gotten in a regular mode. To be able to scroll through these videos, frame by frame, with the touch screen monitor is awesome. I was able to save some truly special moments captured this way. The fact that this camera has wifi and you can share you photos immediately is too cool and I'm beyond excited to play around with the Panasonic Image App which means I can control the camera from my phone! This technology is truly changing photography and how moms capture their kids!

Q: QuestionHow long will the sale on this camera last?
Asked by ColeUniverse.
- A:Answer It’s done now. I have watched it for a While. It constantly fluctuates on somewhat of a bi weekly cycle from 599-799. The 499 price it was just at this year was the same as last year. Looks like last year though it dropped to 499 again in early spring. So if you didn’t get it this time you may get another chance in a few months.
