Made life easier and neater
||Posted .Owned for 7 months when reviewed.Label all your cords as soon as you get new devices. Live and learn. In a busy 6-member family, I’ve wasted so many hours going through mystery cables and devices needing their cables. Cables are not as interchangeable as I once thought. When I started using a label maker to ID all the transformers, outlet adapters, and cables belonging to each device, the big box of mystery cables and accessories was resolved. However, making cord flags with label makers wasn’t perfect either. Lining up both halves to seal together over cables can be tricky. Font styles and sizes, and label lengths and widths somehow get mixed when using my handy label makers, and the rolls of labels are expensive. Wrapping up cords with a flag sticking off the side was messy. These snap-on cord labels are an improvement to my label maker. I use the color-coding behind TVs to match cords with their other end inserted into one of several devices on another shelf. It’s dark behind a big TV in a built-in cabinet. Matching colors is much easier than rotating the TV to read labels or the fine print stamped on the back of the TV. Rolling up cables with these snap-one’s is easy and stream-lined. None have fallen off, yet I can re-use them easily. I label my children’s electronic school supplies/headphones as well with these, avoiding confusion between children at home and at school. Yesterday, I temporarily labeled several “mystery” keys by snapping these onto longer bead-chain key rings, noting where the keys didn’t work to make future efforts to find the matching locks easier. These ID snap-on’s have made my life a little easier, and are cheaper than making flags with a label maker.

not bad.... not bad at all. but not great either..
||Posted .So this is a little bit of a weird one. So they look great, and they work pretty decent for what you need them for.. labeling cables. It comes in handy when you have a bunch of servers and network equipment just chillin, and it is hard to see where the cords are going. Well... I do have one gripe... it isn't symmetrical. Seems like a weird thing to complain about, but hear me out. They look like they should be the same size on both sides when opened up. They are not. They give you 2 different size labels to put in there... but get this, the small ones will fit either side... but the big ones only fit the one side... if BOTH sides work with the small cut outs, why on earth would they give you 2 DIFFERENT cut outs. Astronomically stupid on the design. It doesn't make sense, why not just produce them to be the same size in the first place, and if they CAN'T do that, just include one size fits all on the label cut outs. I mean.... the nerve of these designers, and the audacity of the bosses signing off on this!!!! I can't wrap my head around how that got past all these people, and they produce a simple product with instructions.... because the labeling cut outs are different. I am not talking a big size difference either... I had to put them side by side and squint (I don't even have bad eye sight) to see the difference. It wasn't until I actually tried putting the "larger" (by a fraction of a millimeter!) cut out on the wrong side that I even noticed. I would say they hired people from the special Olympics, but that would be offensive to the fine people on the special Olympics team. Hire some literal monkeys, and they would have stopped this monstrosity of a bad idea from EVER hitting the market. I am sure their mother's are proud of their accomplishments. All said and done, I do enjoy them, and bought a second pack. Not bad.

Great Price- SUPER Useful!!!
||Posted .Owned for 7 months when reviewed. These are just cheesy little plastic covers but they are a LIFE SAVER if you are in a hurry or in a dimly lit room and trying to set up a system! I bought them on a whim and found them so useful!! Trust me, you will find them more than they appear as well! Everyone assumes they know what goes where when everything is unplugged...but then 2 months later on a different TV or system...do you remember...exactly?? These take all the guess work out. You will love them, and better yet they are super cheap to buy!!

Larger than expected
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I am a fanatic about cord organization, so I thought these would be great for my OCD issue; however, they are HUGE! (Or, at least, they are for what I was going to use them for...) If you are using them on larger cables, then they will be great! But if you plan to use them for smaller cables (ie audio, most USB, etc), then these may be a little larger than what you would want. Either way, considering the sale price, it was a great buy! And yes, I would buy them again! I am just hoping they will fit the HDMI cables in the back of my 65" TV that is attached to my fireplace, because there is very little room to maneuver back there, and it would be extremely beneficial if I could label those cables!

Great Organizing Tool
||Posted .These are very helpful tools for identifying wires. I like the different colors and labels. These clip on tight and don't fall off. I love the colored stickers, too; it is an easy way for me to know exactly where the wire goes. I look at the wire with the blue plastic cover, and I then look for the input hole that has the blue sticker over it. Easy! Once you get this, you will wonder why you ever didn't have them! I loved them so much, I went back and bought more to give to family and friends!

Q: Questionhow long are these cords
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer These are not cords so there is no length to them. They are colored tabs that wrap around a cord for identification.

Q: Questiondo they fix coaxial cables for identifying what room a cable runs to from an antenna distribution?
Asked by Barry.
- A:Answer Yes, they fit coaxial. I am using these on my coaxial for my Spectrum internet wire which comes out of the wall and my antenna which comes out of the wall and is next to the Spectrum cable (for the OTA channels). Had to because everything goes behind TV stand and needed to know which was which.
