Well I've been a loyal PNY product user for over 10 years, and I can honestly say, that their products have been reliable, functional, and have lasted the test of time. So as both of my 32GB flash drives approached maximum capacity, I found myself sifting through the web, in search of 32GB replacements, at a reasonable price. The price of memory is such a fickle thing theses days.... Much like buying a new car, what costs a fortune today, is worth just pennies tomorrow. Not wanting to pay a king's ransom, I managed to locate a distributer that was selling PNY 32GB Attaché USB Flash Drives for approximately $34 each. I bought two flash drives, from the merchant, and anxiously awaited their arrival. When they showed up at my door, I found that PNY had made a few changes to their Attaché USB Flash Drive product line, since my last purchase. 1. The 32GB Flash Drives no longer have a LED activity indicator of any sort on the drive. I'm not quite sure how they expect anyone to know when their flash drive is being accessed. I, like many other users have come to expect, utilize, and some even require an activity light of some sort on their external devices. This omission was a major disappointment. 2. Over the years, I've found it necessary to reformat external storage devices, such as flash drives, and start fresh. This worked fine with both of my PNY 32GB Flash Drives, going all the way back to my first 256MB Flash Drive. Well this functionality has got an added rub with this 32GB Flash Drive. Apparently, the 32GB Flash Drive utilizes the exFAT system, which requires a patch/driver from Microsoft, before your Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 machine can `handle' the drive properly. Sort of pain, and no mention of this added requirement on the documentation or packaging the flash drive came in. 3. Lastly is the cheaper case & USB dust sleeve. The case is noticeably cheaper in heft. Seems like PNY elected to go with a cheaper grade of plastic, while at the same time updated their design to incorporate a capless dust sleeve. I say sleeve, since it clearly only protects the sides of the USB plug, but not the connections on the end - the most important part of the drive! They undoubtedly chose this course, like many other manufacturers, to eliminate the problem of lost flash drive caps. A capless system would be fine, if the connections of the USB Plug were afforded some degree of protection. While it may sound like I've blasted the PNY 64GB Flash Drive, it still has its place. However, the short comings of the new design - no LED activity indicator, cheaper case, and only partial protection for the USB Plug do affect its versatility & reliability; especially if it's used as a daily worker. A decent Case Logic case, would be a good & highly recommended compliment, to the transport & integrity of this flash drive. At the very least, it would give the USB Plug some much needed protection, while prolonging the life of the flash drive.

don't use this on your smart TV to record shows

01--12--2018 I purchased this PNY 32 GB usb flash drive to use on my brand new Sharp 50 inch. smart TV (with ROKU) back on December 02, 2017 and this flash drive just went bad. I cannot format flash drive. I used 3 different computers and I still can't format. I get "THE DISK IS WRITE PROTECTED." It seems to me that when I first formatted this drive to the TV that the Roku software somehow made this flash drive " write protected" and I cannot unprotect the drive. In other words, I cannot undue what Roku software did to my PNY 32 GB USB flash drive. I will try a different USB flash drive brand such as San Disk and see if the same thing happens again. FYI....PNY did have some issues with these types of flash drive. go to http://www.pny.com/support/technical-support/usb-flash-drives/faqs and you will see what I am talking about. It seems to me the 32 GB flash drive have the very same issue as the 16 GB flash drives. Seems to me that PNY does NOT have a fix for this issue anymore. go to http://www.pny.com/support/technical-support/usb-flash-drives/16gb-retract-usb-firmware and you will see what I'm talking about. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

This flash drive was on sale & with 32 GB it was just what I was looking for. I was leary about flash drives, especially 32 GB ones because I bought one on Amazon & after 2 months it stopped working. Now I know to only buy the ones that have a retractable port since the one that stopped working didn't have one, which caused it to stop working (the part that you plug into the computer was not metal or retractable, & when it was damaged slightly the unit stopped functioning. Fortunately this one is well made & durable & I have'nt had any problems with it. All in all, a very good buy!

I purchased this headset in Sept 2017. I use it primarily to answer phone calls hands free when commuting. The sound quality is alright for music but I rarely use this headset for listening to music. The ears buds constantly fall out of my ears. The blue tooth is a little slow to connect on calls. It is now March 2018 and the headset is literally falling apart. The wires are exposed between the rubber and plastic connection in the neck band. While I like the neck band headset design, I am dissapointed in the quality of this product for the price.

Bought this product at a really great deal recently. Its great to have usb drive that keeps photos to documents saved for future use and well, user friendly! The gentleman that helped me with this in store pickup name is Robert but everyone calls him bob. He gives excellent customer service and is quick to solve any problem that may arise with customers. He has been with the company for a while and he does his job really well! He knows the technology devices located in store and he doesn't hesitate to help customers with even a small device problem. He enjoys shopping at best buy too. People even stop by to say Hi because well, he is great! Customer service is not easy but at the end of the day there are people like Bob that know how to do more than his job description all while bringing smiles to customers faces. Store #945 in logan ut rocks!

This storage flash drive is a must especiLly if your a college student. My youngest son is in college and he was always carrying around his laptop to use at school so he could store his hw on and it was killing his back from all the weight he had to lift from his backpack. I told him just use the college computers and use this FLASHDRIVE I bought him at BEST BUY and then you save your back from hurting in the long run. Of course he wouldn't say it but MOM WAS RIGHT lol. He now never leaves home without it and now he transfers all his extr photos and other documents to his new FLASH DRIVE so he doesn't use up all his storage space on his IPHONE. It's perfect way to keep all documents and photos with you always without having to carry a laptop since there is always somewhere you can go to plug your flash drive in and send your hw via email or print your hw out before class.

What I've always wanted in a USB flashdrive is a good, strong keyring attachment and a non-removable cap. This PNY Attache has both. It's also more compact than the Lexar JumpDrive TwistTurn and the SanDisk Cruzer. It doesn't have a LED to light up when it's connected, but that's fine with me. The sliding cap can be a bit stubborn; avoid it if you have weak hands or arthritis. One reviewer here noted that the cap doesn't protect it from dust etc. falling into the plug. True enough, but that's not the point. The point is to prevent the end of the plug from being BENT. And it's good for that. The SanDisk Cruzer is the same way, and I never had any trouble with any pocket dust that got into the plug. If any does get in you can just blow it out.

I have several PNY flash drives and have always been impressed with their quality and dependability, and this one is no exception. My only complaint is that they no longer supply a lanyard with their flash drives, and I like having a good quality lanyard to attach to it. They give you a hole in which to attach a lanyard, but that is all. I sure don't want to attach it to a key chain where it will rattle around against a bunch of keys and possibly get damaged. I am sure that this is a "cost saving feature" and is the reason I only give it four stars instead of five!
