Continue your Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield adventure in The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra, two new areas to explore that will be added to the Galar region as part of Pokémon Shield Expansion Pass or Pokémon Sword Expansion Pass

Each area offers a different adventure, where you'll be able to visit the far reaches of the Galar region and meet the people and Pokémon that live there

You'll also see some familiar Pokémon that didn't appear in the Galar region before, a total of over 200 Pokémon

The Isle of Armor - The first new adventure unlocked by the Expansion Pass will take place on the Isle of Armor, an island of the Galar region. Many Pokémon make this island their home, living freely amid the lush nature. The island is also home to a dojo for Pokémon battles.

Players and their Pokémon will train hard to become stronger under Mustard, the master of this dojo.

The Crown Tundra - The second area unlocked by the Expansion Pass is the snow-swept realm of the Crown Tundra. In this frigid yet beautiful landscape-with its jagged winter mountains and shining, silvery landscape-people live in small communities where they support and rely on one another.

A man named Peony will appoint the player as the leader of his exploration team in the Crown Tundra and task them with investigating the reaches of this frozen land. Players will also be able to explore the depths of the Pokémon Dens seen during Max Raid Battles.

What’s more, it seems several previously unseen Legendary Pokémon make the Crown Tundra their home.

Trainers who purchase either the Pokémon Sword Expansion Pass or the Pokémon Shield Expansion Pass soon after the launch of The Isle of Armor expansion (or players who have already prepurchased it) will be able to receive Leon's cap and tights as an early-purchase in-game bonus.

Players will be able to receive these items after the release of The Isle of Armor (by the end of June 2020) until 7:59 A.M. PDT on Monday, August 31, 2020.

¹ To receive the above items, you'll need to open the X menu. From the X menu in your game, go to Mystery Gift, select Get a Mystery Gift, then select Get via Internet.

The Mystery Gift menu option will appear in the X menu after you visit your first Pokémon Center in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. (This occurs after about an hour of gameplay. However, individual gameplay time may vary.)

You can see the clothing items you've received by visiting an in-game boutique fitting room.
