Love this controller
|Posted .Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I bought this because my boys can't be trusted with the $60 remotes. These are tougher and cheaper. They held up nicely, and cool designs. I love them so much. I bought 3 for the family, and they work on my PC for other games.

Good economic choice for a controller
|Posted .Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I had to get another controller because my left joy con on my switch was drifting. I do have the two year warranty from best buy on the switch but I am hesitant to use it because I do not want to send the whole console in for just the controller. It is too bad they do not fix a known problem that the device has. My switch is only about a year old, so they could have fixed the problem since the original release. Anyway, this controller is fine and I like using it. I wish it had the rumble feature for some games, but it is not worth it to me to spend any more than this. I think I got it for about $15, but I heard that it goes on sale sometimes for about $10, so I would look out for those sales if possible.

Great aftermarket Switch Controller
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5This is a great addition for any serious gammer that needs complete control over their Switch movements. Switch, we all know, comes with a very tiny and difficult to maneuver factory controller, especially if your child or you have larger fingers and hands overall. This controller makes if seem very similar to an X-Box style of unit and fits larger hands. Wired, but works well. Long cord included.

Really good value controllers
|Posted .Features
Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Got 4 of these with an Insignia™ - 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub and am able to use all 4 at the same time on the switch. The controllers feel pretty quality for how low priced they are. Only things I wish for was that it used USB C instead of USB Micro b and that the controllers have rumble. Although rumble would probably add more to the price so just USB C would've been nice.

It is what it is.

Quality4 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5The buttons aren’t as loud as people say they are. If you have sensitivity to the would of clicking I’d suggest spending the extra money getting the wireless as that one is much quieter. The cord is really 10 ft long and that’s a huge plus. I would recommend this if you connect the switch to a screen often as the buttons are much larger than the switch’s. The triggers are definitely not as sensitive as I would like. But they do well for a just under 20$ controller. If you don’t want or don’t have the extra money to spend on the pro controller this is very much worth the buy.

Good for extra players
|Posted .Owned for 3 months when reviewed.Features
Quality4 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5It's not the greatest but a good alternative to the expensive 1st party controllers and extra joy cons. If you plan to play with Family and friends and need a lot of controllers for simultaneous play, this is the way to go. The feel isn't as tight and feels a little spongy but it's ok.

Wired Controller for Switch
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality3 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Fantastic and inexpensive way to add another player. We love the idea of wireless, but not the price. Also, despite needing to be plugged in, this allows for no shortage of play time due to battery life or bluetooth connectivity issues. Thanks Nintendo!

Great Budget Controller for the Casual Player/Kids
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality4 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Since I casually play at home and I have bigger hands, something bigger than the standard joy cons plus cheap was something I was looking for. The controller feels a bit cheap but still very sturdy. If you dont mind not having a wireless control and want to save a buck, I recommend this controller. It wont win any awards but with it going on sale occasionally for $10 its a great addition to any Switch users accessory pool.

Q: Questionif its a wired controller then why the heck would it be able to unplug from its cord?
Asked by justahuman.
- A:Answer Three reasons. Most obvious is for the sake of storage and travel, cause wires are easier to roll up when they’re not attached to the controller themselves. Secondly, it’s designed to protect the switch in the case of a hard tug or someone tripping on the cable, which will cause the cable to unplug from the controller instead of yanking on the dock and dropping the switch. And finally, because the type of cable it uses is so common, it makes it really easy to replace if it gets damaged somehow.

Q: QuestionCan this remote work with switch directly without the dock for switch ?
Asked by Mohan.
- A:Answer The cord is USB-C to connect to the controller and USB-A to connect to the switch dock. The only connection to the Switch itself is USB-C. So it won't work as-is. If you purchase a USB-C to USB-C cord, then it should work.

Q: QuestionSince this is a wired controller, how exactly does it work? one end is connected to the controller where does the other end go?
Asked by anon.
- A:Answer The switch dock has 3 USB ports, two on the side and one in the back with the AC and HDMI ports. You can plug the controller into any of these USB ports. Please note that this means you can only use this controller when the switch is docked, and cannot be used when in Handheld mode.
