The 100-hour* PureGuardian Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier Tower enhances comfort, helping you sleep better. It provides quick relief from dry air making life pleasant for those with colds, allergies and dry skin. The space-saving tower design, with an easy-to-fill large 1.5 gallon tank, is ideal for use in medium size rooms. Silver Clean™ Protection is embedded in the tank to help keep the water tank cleaner longer. Thanks to ultrasonic technology, it disperses a fine mist into the air, and is ultra-quiet making it ideal to have on while you sleep. This tower humidifier has an optional aromatherapy tray so a few drops of essential oil can be added to create a relaxing atmosphere. The humidifier is equipped with a 12-hour timer, a night light and variable mist control. An indicator light lets you know when it's time to refill the water tank. The humidifier shuts off automatically once empty. Note: Run time is based off of running the unit on low speed, also depends on atmospheric conditions.
Q: How often do you have to clean humidifiers?
A: The unit will need to be cleaned with 100% white vinegar once a week.
A: This unit is designed to cover up to 440sq ft. If you run the unit on the low setting as needed you should not have an issue with oversaturation. We suggest using a separate humidistat if you are concerned with your belongings.
Q: Does this have the feature of top fill? And does it require a filter?
A: You have to remove the tank, take it to your water source and flip it over, unscrew the cap then it's a top fill. This is the only way to fill up. I fill it with filtered water to have less mineral build up.
Q: is this unit hard to clean? Is it easy to disassemble ?
A: The unit is easy to disassemble and clean as all that is needed to clean the unit is 100% white vinegar. The cleaning will need to be done once every 1-2 weeks.
A: 6ft
Q: How long does the unit run when filled up?
A: I fill it about every 3 days.
Q: Can you use decalfication tablets with this machine?
A: I do and don't seem to cause a problem.
A: I wouldn't try it. It should not need repairs for a very long time if used properly.
