Hi, 1 - It's hard to say. Even with the Sony TV I have mine paired with, I have to use the ARC - Audio Return Channel enabled HDMI port to get audio from the smart features of the TV to use surround sound. So if your Samsung has an ARC-enabled 1.4 standard HDMI port, it should work. 2. It does have an FM tuner. I haven't set mine up yet, but hope to get around to that this weekend.

It's just an HDMI connection. Add an HDMI switch to easily switch between multiple devices if you need more than 2 HDMI Ins.
