“Can the rear speakers be wired not using wireless feature? My house is already wired for surround sound, can all the speakers be wired. I do not wish to run another power box to the rear speakers.”

I don't believe so. There are no plug in slots on the player for the back speakers, just FL, FR, CTR & WOOFER.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, they plug into the rear surround module so you could plug them into something else but not on the system itself. It is cool they way they work though, the wireless port is easily hidden.

The rear speakers are required to be physically attached to the surround amplifier, which is the one that will receive the wireless signal from the main unit to be able to play a 5.1 channel output depending on the source. The main unit doesn't have any surround back ports in order to bypass the surround amplifier set up.~Jeannette
