Can the RAM be upgraded to 16gb? null

Yes there is a possibly but you must check what DDR ram it is. You my look at the gold fingers and search on the web to see which DDR ram it is. (IT my include in shipping box.)

Yes it can. I bought an upgraded ram package from another source and it works fabulously. I installed 8gb (2x4gb) of DDR4 2400 Ballistix ram and it's performing great. The machine has 2 ram slots. Good luck.
