“What programs can I uninstall without hurting anything? I just started it up for the first time and it is slow. I know it has a lot of junk software but I don't know enough to be confident on all my uninstall options. Any recommendation is appreciated.”

Pre-installed games (WildTangent Games etc.) and multimedia software (ex. Cyberlink Power DVD) can be uninstalled. Some Windows apps can be uninstalled too but it really depends on what you plan on using. Every computer user has different wants and needs so that's not an easy question to answer.
