I. purchased my new HP laptop from Best Buy about 6 months ago having used it less than 10 hours. Reason reason being during that 10 hours, I set and did not write down the password II created that I "would never forget". Well;, I have tried every passwords i can think of and no luck. can someone please help me? i i saved up for almost a year to buy that and have given away my old laptop leaving me to use my android phone to run the company that i am attempting to start. please tell me i am bot the proud owner of a $400.00 paperweight julie mielkeWas told that i had a 1 year warranty.

It will not cover software issues or issues or issues caused by handling the device. Best Buy offers Geek Squad Protection Plans, and you can select coverage for a number of years. It covers the same as the manufacturer, and they also have options for accidental handling coverage. They also offer Technical Support plans for software issues (virus protection, software installs, OS restores, etc.).
