- Answer RAM means Random Access Memory. This is the temporary memory size in bytes that the computer uses to run programs and manipulate data while it is running. GB is Gigabytes (billions of bytes) while MB is Megabytes (millions of bytes). Not sure about HDD.

QuestionMost manufacturers don't show a photo of the Keypad. Why not? I want to see the layout of the keys and which FUNCTION keys are included. Does this have a Function key to disable and enable the TrackPad? Lenovo uses F6. Toshiba uses F5.

- Answer You can "disable internal pointing devise shen external USB devise is attached". Go to Windows icon, select settings, go to either TouchPad or Mouse and check thke disable box.

QuestionDoes this Laptop have topside surface Laptop Speakers?. Placement is everything and HP sometimes puts speakers on the bottom that muffle the sound so bad that you can barely here anything.

QuestionI want a decent computer for my son to put Hondata- for car performance, he races his Honda, would this be a good idea for such a thing? He does use it for everyday internet usage as well, but would absolutely need to be able to install/use

- Answer I don't know.I don't know why you would want to go backwards. Normally, a computer is upgraded to a more current version, not the reverse. Also, bear in mind that older version parts eventually become outdated which means they stop manufacturing the parts. It's like the manufacturers are pushing you to get newer products regardless of whether you want all the bells and whistles or not.

- Answer To my knowledge this laptop does not have a docking station. I don't know if it is even capable of having one. Check with HP directly.

QuestionBest Buy specifications sheet says this unit has wireless AC. I bought this computer and it does NOT see my 5GhZ network (only my 2.4GhZ). HP spec sheet says this computer has b/g/n. I need the range and speed of AC, how does Best Buy resolve?

- Answer I've only had this laptop about 3 weeks but the battery life is better than my previous 5 year old laptop. I have worked nonstop on it for 4 hours and the battery indicator still shows more than 1/2 full.
