• It does have an HDMI connection. If you older projector has an HDMI connection should be an easy connection with an HDMI cable. If not then not sure what the answer is. Maybe talk to Best Buy to see if an adapter is available.

• Yes it does. If your projector had HDMI, all you'll need is a cable long enough to reach. Note some laptop cannot push further then 10-15 feet so do try going too far. Also you should be using an amplifier for sound unless this is just for Power Point with no sound. If it has HDMI you should run HDMI from the laptop to the amp and then from the amp to the projector. Laptop and projector sound quality is not good. Best luck!
