“Can I set this up as a soundbar only directly to TV without linking to my network? Do not have HDMI-ARC; I connected with HDMI and optical. I don't plan to subscribe to any streaming until late this year.”

• This Soundbar would require a wireless network to join to get the benefit of the Streaming services. The HDMI and Optical is fine for older systems. Hope this helps.
