If you are using Spectrum devices for your spectrum services then yes. But you can switch to Spectrum streaming thru the ROKU and access DVR services. If you have Spectrum devices, you are paying for rental of those devices. Better to stream and return the devices to Spectrum and save some money on the service.

Or you can connect the Soundbar to the TV with the included optical cable and listen to your soundbar with whatever is playing on your tv.
