• yes, their are newer functions on the bar version and it seems faster to me. also the iphone app controls the bar which is very helpful replaying pics and video from your phone to the tv. gl

• If you get a Roku Soundbar for your TV, other Roku devices are no longer needed to be connected to your TV. Also, if you have a Roku TV (a TV with Roku built-in) then it would be better to get a different brand soundbar as you will just be duplicating the Roku streaming features.
