“Setting up my unit that arrived today. It is requesting my credit card number to prove I am an adult??? I have never encountered this with a pc before. Please advise.”

I also recently purchased the same computer and it did not ask for a credit card. Make sure you have installed virus protection and call HP if you cannot proceed with the set up of your computer. Call the HP number provided on the material enclosed with your computer.
