“How is the sound without a sound bar? Does it need a soundbar, if so which one?”

• I need hearing aids and I use this TV in the bedroom when not using my aids. It sounds just fine to me without a soundbar.

• I bought this and hooked it up for my Aunt in her office. She has her treadmill in there. The thing is very loud when it's running but we were pleased by the fact that you were able to hear the television over the treadmill. And over all of us talking. The speakers are very good. I would NOT waste my money by putting a soundbar under it. Just my opinion. Hope I helped you out a little bit. Have a great day.
