Does the ice maker use filtered water or tap water? null

I used filtered water for it but tap water should be fine too

If you use tap water, look inside the box (under the ice basket). I started with filtered water and it stayed pretty clean for the first year. In March, I started using tap water. Geeze, that''s gross. I guess I'll be cleaning it every month or so.

I use filtered and it works like a charm. I make the small cubes. It makes 9 cubes in about 9 minutes
