It does melt pretty fast. Since the ice maker is not actually freeze temps inside. It will melt in the bucket waiting. Since the ice is basically quick frozen, it also does not last super long in your beverages. Now, saying that. I still love mine. If you have a big family, it will run out quick. I love ice and fill my cups to the top, so mine gets used up pretty fast. But it does make 9 new ice cubes average of 10 minutes
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The ice takes an hour or more to melt after you turn the machine off in a normal home temperature. It will also vary depending on the temperature of where you are using it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The tub is insulated but it does not keep the ice frozen, it takes a while for it to melt completely but it will start melting slowly pretty soon after dropping into bin.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ice begins to melt when it is exposed to temperatures above the temperature at which water freezes. The poles freeze the water, but once it is done, there is nothing about this machine that KEEPS the finished ice cubes frozen.
