“Why won't all the channels scan into the tv set. I was only able to get six stations in that can actually be seen on the screen. All others say no signal. I could not scan in channels 1 through 11. I used the auto scan.”

The number of channels the TV can recognize depends primarily on the kind of antenna used and its positioning. But it also depends on atmospheric and stratospheric conditions for the broadcast signal strength. Try repositioning the antenna and rescanning. Use the signal strength meter available in the Menu to help your adjustments.
