Hello. We appreciate your interest in a new microwave, and certainly understand how important fitting it into your existing space would be; we’re glad to advise. For an opening of that size, you would need a filler kit specifically to fit a microwave into the space. If you are looking for an over-the-range model, we have several options that might work for you, including PVM9225SRSS (with filler kit JX36BSS) and PVM9179DRBB (filler kit JX36BBB). Countertop microwaves are generally smaller, and the trim kit options for those are for 27” and 30” openings.
