“Hello, I had built in GE JEB1860 microwave with trim around.Its not working, i need to buy a new compatible GE/trim Pease advise, I want to buy JES1657SMSS, would that fit in and which trim should I buy ? or would the built in trim work??. Any advise ?”

The JES1657SMSS is a countertop only microwave. It is not designed to be built in. Consider model PEB7227ANDD and the 27" - JX7227SLSS or 30" - JX7230SLSS built-in kit as comparable replacements. To confirm which kit (27" or 30") to buy, measure the overall width of your microwave including the trim on each side.
