I can change the volume and the channel with my cable remote. Did you use the correct code? It took several tries but I finally found the correct one.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I know if you have verizon there's multiple codes that can be used. Try to reset the remote and or try to program the remote again. Not all codes work with every function the first time
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Had that issue, had to do a live chat with FIOS tech to be walked through manual programming of my remote. Was a ton of steps but it worked. Hope this helps.
