In case anyone else finds this question, here's what I ended up doing to be able to record to a VCR. This TV was replacing a very old tube TV with a regular antenna so I already had an HD converter. I bought a coax splitter and another coax cable and put the splitter right after the antenna. Path 1 is: antenna, splitter, TV, using the TV input. Since the TV already has a digital tuner it picked up all the local channels during the scan and worked great. Path 2 is antenna, splitter, HD converter, VCR, TV, using the AV input. So when I want to record to the VCR the HD converter becomes my tuner and I just switch to the AV input on the TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Rca to hdmi adaptors work good, but not sure if it needs to be connected to cable box out, or tv out..good luck
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This TV does not have an RCA connection. You could attempt using an RCA to HDMI converter.
