how is the sound on this set? null

I think the sound is pretty good. It's great in a small room like a bedroom. I find that Im using the sound turned up to about 6 and that is on the low spectrum of what it has to offer. Hope this helps.

The sound is actually better than any TV I have owned. I have two of this brand, and they are both excellent in every way.

Not bad for our bedroom. Volume control is a bit picky. Between 2-3 is all I need.

It's good for a small room. Quality is descent.

The sound was decent for everyday tv watching. Nothing to use for action movies or gaming, for that you'd need to add speakers.
