• You just need wifi. No 2nd device needed. You can use your tablet or smartphone as a remote for this tv which makes entering information a lot easier.

• You can just use the wifi to connect to the internet. It is very easy to switch back and forth between the Roku and the cable television.

• Roku 'app' is built into TV. All you need to do is connect to your WiFi and you're off. No additional devices necessary.

• No, it just needs to be connected through ethernet or Wi-Fi. You can download free apps, or use subscription services. Some of them require a cable or satellite accounts but many do not. You can also buy channels all a cart in the store like HBO or stars.
