“I looked at the specifications for this set. It says that it does not offer closed captioning. Is this true? Will I be able to access closed captioning from my cable company?”

• I just now delved into settings and easily found “subtitles and captioning.” I use antenna tv and so I will not be able to answer about cable access. I’m very happy with this tv and want another for a different room

• In the Amazon Video app, I was able to turn the closed captioning on once I started playing my video. Perhaps the other apps offer the same options.
