“I can turn the t.v. on with the power button on the t.v.Why won't the remote operate the t.v.? It says in the trouble shooting if the status light blinks its not the remote. There is no light on the front of t.v. Is there suppose to be a light?”

Hello mouse357, the TV has a red light on the front of it indicating the interaction with the remote or the standby light (when turned off), if this light can't be seen and the remote is not working I would suggest to take advantage of the manufacturers warranty and have it checked at your local Geek Squad.
