in order to scan there are two ways - first go to settings then TV inputs then arrow over and scan for channels after you have scanned the go to edit channel line up to remove unwanted channels then you can arrow down to Favorite channels and select the box another way to scan for channels is mouse over the Antenna TV APP and press the asterik button on the remote and ir will give you options but then you will need to go back to the settings to remove unwanted channels i not sure how the Favorites work i am guessing that the channels you watch the most get added automatically one day they showed up on the the guide there were a list of favorites and then the list of all the channels
