Once you launch the TV "channel" you just press up or down on the remote to change channels. To exit live TV, press the "home" button on the remote and choose any other app. It's very friendly for watching live TV as the inputs are all part of the graphic interface. Mine is hooked up to free over-the-air broadcasts and works beautifully.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can absolutely use this as just a regular TV. I have mine hooked up to a "rabbit ears" antenna, and I get local channels that come in beautifully! I didn't buy mine to use with Wi-Fi, although some day I may. Hope this helps. :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this will work as a regular TV and get regular broadcast signals over-the-air. I've hooked up a Trek brand indoor TV antenna to the unit and scanned for channels during the setup process. You can also use it with cable TV providers.
