QuestionCan you leave ice in the machine without melting ? Is it a freezer too ?

- Answer It keeps the ice well and will recycle the melted ice to make more, but the storage basket is too small for my family of 4. The refrigeration is accomplished by the ice production and the insulation of storage area.
