• Roku will get you to other channels like Netflix, Vudo, Hulu, Amazon etc. But, you will still need to have an account with those certain streaming channels.

• Roku is a streaming service built right into your TV. It's a similar to using Chrome or Firefox on your pc. Roku connects your TV to the Internet via your home wifi router. It will get you connected to many streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon video, Hulu, etc. The Roku service is free with your Roku device. Naturally, you will have to pay the Netflix and Hulu fees separately.
