“My elderlly hard of hearing parents complain the tv show background noise (such as music) is louder than the voices in the show. They cannot hear what the people are saying. Is there any setting i could adjust? Thanks.”

You’d have to go to the audio settings on the tv itself and adjust from there,, I’m sure there are specific settings such as tone etc... I do hope you figure this out for your parents.
