You can use an ethernet usb adapter to get a wired connection. I've heard Belkin model F4U047BT that Best Buy offers works, but I used a generic adapter. You would need one that does not need to install drivers. Plug the ethernet cord into the adapter, then the adapter into the tv. Go to settings > system > power > system restart. The tv will prefer the wired connection over wireless.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was pleasantly surprised after I powered up my 39" Insignia ROKU TV when it automatically connected wirelessly to my home network!!! I expected to run an ethernet cable, but that was not required. I just had to select the home network, and supply the password, and everything came up. I logged onto my Netflix account right away. It was a little surprise. I was unfamiliar with ROKU TV, so I bought this for cable. As a result, it was a little awkward getting to Cable TV with the remote. With the coaxial cable attached from my cable box, I discovered that the 'Antenna' icon on the 'Home' screen takes you to the cable channels. I have been exploring 'cutting the cord' with TV as cable TV prices have been soaring. This 'accidental' purchase will enable me to get serious about it!
