Why do lines come down in my tv null

First of all, are the lines on all video inputs and not just a specific one so I can narrow down if it is the product or one of the sources producing these lines. Many times lines are produced by a low quality HDMI cable and even the cable box may have a problem. If it is across all inputs, then your tv may have a motherboard problem and require service. I always purchase the extended warranty for peace of mind .
