Please note: My answer is based solely on my personal experience while using this product, therefore my answer is not fact supported or surveyed. Again, just my personal experience as an average consumer. With that said, my daughter and I were very disappointed with this product as a whole, and the charging time was a huge factor in that . After unboxing the pen and then initially charging it (as per the instructions that come in the box with the product), we were able to try it out for about 20 minutes (and that time frame is me being generous), and then the light was signaling to be charged again, in which we complied. After about 15 minutes (2nd time charging was a bit shorter) the light signaled that it was ready to use however, to our disappointment the one would not turn on or work in anyway. Maybe we received a defective pen, unfortunately Best Buy will not return because it is a little bit after the 30 day return policy apparently, so I guess we will never know! In conclusion, both myself and my daughter were really excited to try out this pen and let our creativity flow, unfortunately things didnt work out, I would recommend to instead get something cheap like sidewalk chalk and go outside with your kids and let your creativity flow along side Mother Nature!!
