So more than likely, you purchased a new protection plan for the replacement headset. So, if this were to happen again, it would utilize the new plan. I hope this makes sense! Q: QuestionI purchased a laptop but I did not purchase geek squad. Can the person I bought it for add the insurance after the fact. It was a gift . Also if they don’t like it (if it’s to big) can they return it and do the have to pay a restocking fee.

• A:Answer Best bet would be your home owners insurance will replace it and the protection plan would still apply to the new replacement camera if it is the same model. If it got burnt in a place where home owners insurance does not cover it then I would find the melted part or something that you think could be it and bring that in for repair. They will likely issue you a new one instead of repair but then your accidental plan would be fulfilled so I say go with Home owners and keep the accidental plan on going. Good luck!

• A:Answer Your protection plan is good for the cost of the item you purchased. So say you break your screen and it cost 50 dollars to replace it. Say you purchased said item for 200 dollars. You would then be able to replace the screen 3 more times or have 150 dollars in coverage left. If the damage cost as much as item. You will then need to purchase a new protections plan.
