“Roku works but only with the Roku remote. I put the Roku stick in the Roku port but I can't control it with the TV remote. What am I doing wrong?”

• The tv remote is NOT going to work because you have to have TV and ROKU on 2 different Hdmi channels but you can download a FREE ROKU APP REMOTE FROM GOOGLE which works fantastic or use roku remote.

• You bought the wrong Roku Stick. The Roku that works with the TV remote doesn't even come with it's own remote.

• Roku uses a radio frequency remote, not IR like most TVs (including this one). So Roku can only be controlled with a Roku remote OR their Roku mobile app.

• have you tried downloading the Roku remote app to your phone or tablet? Your tv remote will not work unfortunately.

• If you purchased the ROKU MHL streaming stick it will work with the tv remote. Your problem may be that you purchased the regular ROKU streaming stick. There is a difference.
