“How far apart are the legs on this tv? I'm just wondering if a table I already have will work with this tv. I live in an apartment and I am not sure about the tv mount policy so I would rather set it on a table. My current table is about 36" across. I know the tv is 42" wide, but it doesn't looks like the stands are that close to the end of the tv.”

• You will need at least 40" wide and 12" deep for this TV to be safe and secure.

• At the widest section, the legs are approximately 33 inches apart.

• Check the exact width of your table. You would need 35" from leg to leg.

• The furthest out the base goes is 34 3/4" so it should fit your table if it is 36" across.
