• depends on the number of tuners on the big box. it must have at least 4, but it probably does, because you already have 1 mini. in this case, yes.

• Yes - you can have multiple Tivo Minis connected to a primary Tivo (big box). I believe the limit is that you can not have more Tivo Minis than you have tuners in your main Tivo system. I currently have a Tivo Bolt with 6 tuners and have 2 Tivo Minis connected to it with no issues what-so-ever.
