You can using standard RCA connectors. However, it would be better to get an optical digital audio connector and just connect all devices to your TV, and then connect the optical out from your TV to this system.

ARC allows the audio from the game to go to the the TV back to the home theater. The TV MUST be HDMI/ARC compatible. It's the HDMI connection that has ARC built into it.
