“what is the wifi range of this device? i have a medium sized house the wireless access point is going to be a few rooms away through walls i use wifi in the room this device would be in on a laptop and it works fine but i purchased a wifi smart tv and it would not get adequate speed to connect to streaming services. will this device function well with walls and distance from the wireless access point?”

Any wireless product can experience slow connection speeds. It is normally due to the distance away from the router or other electronic devices in the home interfering with the wireless signal. To improve the wireless connection, try moving the router access point closer to the Sony product that is streaming the video. If the router is close enough, using a wired Ethernet connection is suggested instead. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's more to do with your wi fi router than the tv or blue ray player. Increases bandwidth on router or upgrade. Most major router companies provide tech support to increase bandwidth
