• Hello Kevin, Your Roku subwoofer is designed to connect with a Roku audio host device such as a Roku Streambar®, Roku Streambar Pro, Roku Smart Soundbar, or Roku TV™ when Roku wireless speakers or a Roku TV Wireless Soundbar is connected. It cannot be connected directly to your TV, or an existing sound system.

• I don't have the upper class Roku line but I think that you probably need something else with any flat panel TV. The speakers are very small in a thin TV. I tried to do without in my bedroom and gave up after 2 months. Movie viewing is definitely going to warrant something else.
