- Answer Yes, you can also use your tv sound BUT I notice that if I use the tv sound along with the sound system there is an echo. The sound between the two is off a hair. Its a pretty good system for the price. I just turn the sound on my tv to 0. I did the same on my old system (Sony) even though with the Sony it synced with the tv I still only used the the sound system. I do like that on the remote you can adjust the sound to different programs, i.e., talk tv, theatre, music, etc.

QuestionTrying to connect it to a projector. Sound only piping out of subwoofer. Have HDMI connected direct and have also tried using an HDMI with toslink optical on a switch ... still no sound.

QuestionUnit recognizes our WiFi network, but not the password. As alternate ask for different ip addresses or information tha I don’t know. Why not just the password? Samsung surround unit.

QuestionIn the samsung system, could you add better speaksrs?? Also in the set up mode, how do you set the distance from speakers to the actual unit? How do you get the same.

- Answer Yes, that’s the main purpose. If you connect it to the right/recommended hdmi port, it turns off when you turn the tv off. Volume is controlled by tv remote then too.
